FOR PREVENTING ONSET OF SLAG FROM LADLE TO TUNDISH

The KT2000 LadleSLAG utilizes acoustic vibration technology to indicate the onset of slag carryover from the ladle to the tundish. This vibration-based system provides steelmakers with a scientific method for selecting the appropriate balance between acceptable slag carryover and steel cleanliness for each grade of steel. Adjust system sensitivity for an alarm before slag carryover begins, or maximize yield by allowing a small amount of carryover.
